Our flower communion is scheduled for June 7th. This year for our virtual flower communion we are asking that you send pictures of flowers (however many you like) that will be compiled into a slideshow to be shared during service. Please include a description of your flower (what it is, why it is special, where you found it, etc…) if you are able. If you cannot send a picture of your flower but have a favorite that you would like to contribute, let Tracie know and she will find a picture for you. We want to be able to keep this tradition alive even in an online format, so if you have any other suggestions please send them! Flowers, descriptions, and/or suggestions can be sent to Tracie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the personal nature of communion and the names/details listed in our presentation, we will not be recording or posting the Flower Communion service online. We can send out the slide show presentation to individuals who request it (email email@example.com), and the UUA has information for celebrating flower communion with a small group or individually for those who are not able to join us. As usual, information for joining us virtually can be found on our website.
